Getting started

Base URL, authentication and your first verification in two minutes.

The Kavik API is a plain JSON REST API. One call runs the full 28-check suite on an address and returns a score and a verdict.

(The legacy host https://verifications.email/api/v1 answers the same API and stays online.)

1. Get an API key

Create an account, then open API keys in the dashboard. Keys start with eva_ and are shown once at creation.

2. Make your first call

3. Read the verdict

The verdict enum is safe | risky | invalid | unknown. On this site we call safe addresses valid. Unknown results are never billed. Repeat lookups for the same address may be served from a short-lived cache for speed; each call counts toward your usage once per call.
